KUCHING, March 27: Thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Kuching, Sri Aman, and Betong by Malaysia Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) and are expected to last until 3pm.
According to the notice posted at 11.30am today, the districts of Bau, Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, and Betong are listed as the areas affected by the rainy weather.
Based on the Facebook post, the warning is only issued when there are signs of thunderstorms with rain intensity exceeding 20mm an hour or with downpour that is expected to occur for more than an hour.
