KUCHING, Jan 27: Kota Samarahan City Council (MPKS) chairman Dato Peter Minos views the launch of the Arden City ‘township’ in Kota Samarahan as a positive indicator for attracting more investors to the region.

Minos highlighted that the addition of housing, malls, and shops in Arden City would contribute to an increase in the local population.

This, in turn, is expected to boost local consumption capacity, leading to a rise in the demand for local services.

ā€œThe growth cycle goes on. This is doing good to Kota Samarahan and the people as well,” he said in a statement today.

On the same note, Minos also expressed his gratitude to Ibraco Group for inviting him to launch the Arden City project.

He said MPKS is pleased that Ibraco Group is choosing Kota Samarahan for the project.

ā€œApart from that, it is good that the government has substantially removed the past perennial traffic jams in Kota Samarahan and brought in the Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART) system which will be completed by the end of 2025.

ā€œBoth housing developers and buyers have responded very positively to the new urban transport solution,ā€ he said. ā€” DayakDaily
