KUCHING, Jan 24: A special registration programme for eligible applicants of the Sumbangan Keperluan Asas Sarawak (SKAS) will be held at the Miri Civic Centre starting today until January 26 from 8am to 5pm.
The programme, organised by the Sarawak Information Systems (SAINS) in collaboration with the Economic Planning Unit (EPU), Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA), and the Sarawak Civil Service Digitalisation Unit (SCSDU), aims to provide support to SKAS-eligibleĀ applicants who are facing challenges with the registration process for Sarawak ID and S Pay Global.
In addition, service counters at the Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) in Miri will continue to operate as usual to facilitate the registration process.
This announcement was made by the senior management of SAINS during a meeting chaired by the Sarawak Minister of Transport and Senadin assemblyman, Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, at the Bangunan Baitulmakmur here yesterday (Jan 23), as reported by the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS).
To enhance servicesā effectiveness, Lee proposed that SAINS provide comprehensive training to the staff of the Sarawak Legislative Assembly Service Centres within the constituency, enabling them to offer more efficient assistance to applicants who come in person.
In response, SAINS agreed to assess the need for such training soon and, if necessary, will conduct the training online. ā DayakDaily
