SMK Medamit’s journey to this global stage began with their victory at the T&T Mini Lab Battlefield Competition held at Tegas Digital Village in September 2024.

Their success exemplifies the untapped potential of Sarawak’s rural students when given the right tools and opportunities.

Tegas chief executive officer (CEO) Udin Bujang expressed pride in the achievement, stating, ā€œThis is not only a victory for SMK Medamit but also a testament to what can be achieved when we invest in nurturing young talent, regardless of their geographical location. At Tegas, we believe talent exists everywhere, and opportunity must be equally accessible.ā€

Tegas congratulates SMK Medamit and all who have contributed to this inspiring journey, marking yet another milestone in its mission to empower and support youth innovation across Sarawak.

Their accomplishment underscores Tegas’ continued commitment to bridging the urban-rural innovation gap and supporting youth development initiatives aligned with the Post-Covid Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030. — DayakDaily
