In a media release, the school revealed that 59 students of the cohort also achieved B or better in all subjects, while the entire group recorded a 100 per cent pass rate—an impressive achievement across all major subjects.

This stellar performance reflects academic excellence of the highest calibre and reinforces the school’s reputation for nurturing top-performing students.

Shamus Teo, one of the straight-A achievers, credited his success to consistent effort. “It’s not just about talent—it’s about staying focused and disciplined,” he said, expressing heartfelt thanks to his teachers and friends for their support.

Fellow top-scorer Alene Yeo offered an encouraging reflection: “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”

Expressing immense pride in the students and staff, acting principal Fr Stanley Goh, SJ, emphasised that this excellent performance continues the school’s tradition of both human and academic excellence.

“This reflects the students’ talents and effort in preparing for their exams but also the commitment and dedication of our excellent teachers who were there for our students every step of the way. It reflects what our school stands for – to provide an environment where students can grow not just academically but in courage and wisdom as they develop into the fine young people that they are. It’s also with the support of the staff, administrators and parents that allow us to do well, and for that I’m always grateful,” he said.

Alongside the celebrations, students were also given the opportunity to engage with representatives from various universities and colleges who were present to guide them in planning their next academic journey. — DayakDaily
