KUCHING, Oct 20: ‘Entertaining’ candidates are like ‘naughty boys’ in class — they fail when it come to exams, says Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian.

According to Dr Sim, who is Deputy Premier and also Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) president, in the coming 15th General Election (GE15), voters should go for candidates who have a track record of achievements instead of ‘entertaining’ candidates.

“So vote for someone who can actually deliver,” he told reporters after launching the Deepavali light decoration at the Padungan cat statue, today.

Dr Sim also reminded voters to also not take the decision of who to vote for lightly lest they end up choosing individuals who will let them down.

“They will complain that all the politicians always fail, but it is because they chose the wrong person, that is why they fail,” he said. — DayakDaily
