MUKAH, Sept 30: A fire broke out at a landfill in Jerijeh Tanjung Manis here, prompting a rapid response from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak.
The incident covers an area of approximately one acre.
In response to a distress call received at 7.41am today, a team of firefighters from the Tanjung Manis Station was swiftly mobilised to the site.
At present, two dedicated firefighting teams, under the command of PBK II Mohd Norarbi Jamain, are actively engaged in efforts to control and extinguish the fire. — DayakDaily
