KUCHING, Oct 21: A drowning incident involving two men occurred at a pool of a condominium near BDC Stampin, here tonight.
According to a report by the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), they received the emergency call at 8pm before despatching a team of firefighters from Tabuan Jaya Fire Station (BBP) to the scene.
It was reported that both victims were pulled from the pool by bystanders before rescue teams arrived.
The first victim, aged 32, was in stable condition and conscious, while the second victim aged 19 had no pulse, prompting CPR to be administered by the Fire and Rescue personnel as well as the medical team until the victim’s condition stabilised and a pulse was detected.
Both victims were then rushed to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for further treatment. — DayakDaily
