The partial road closure from the Datuk Chong Kiun Kong bridge to Taman Highfield in Batu Kawa from Aug 26 until Sept 6.

KUCHING, Aug 23: There will be a partial road closure from the Datuk Chong Kiun Kong bridge to Taman Highfield in Batu Kawa from Aug 26 until Sept 6 for repair works.

Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak, in a statement today, said the closure would also be implemented on the other side of the road, from Taman Highfield heading towards Datuk Chong Kiun Kong bridge from Aug 26-Sept 10 to make way for road resurfacing works.

As such, the department advises road users to be careful when passing through the work area and to follow safety signs provided along the road.
