KUCHING, April 6: The Department of Veterinary Services in Bintulu is organising a free drive-through rabies vaccination programme at tHe Spring Bintulu from 10am to 3pm on April 8 and 9.
According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), dog owners are encouraged to take advantage of the programme if they have a healthy canine that is not pregnant and aged three (3) months and above.
Dog owners are also advised to bring their identity card and any health record for their pet canine.
After the vaccination, the dogs are not to be washed for a week and are to be quarantined for 28 days for the vaccine to take full effect. — DayakDaily
