KUCHING, May 2: In conjunction with the Sarawak Invitational Interteam Pickleball Challenge 2024, the Sarawak Pickleball Association and Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak) will hold a book donation campaign on May 3-5, 2024, at the Kan Sheng Sports Hall in Senadin, Miri.

According to a press release from Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak), the campaign is part of the ‘Books Build Legacy’ corporate social responsibility initiative, which seeks to promote literacy and education among schoolchildren while also encouraging them to develop a love of reading.

BESarawak further highlighted that book donations will be distributed to rural schools across Sarawak.

“Storybooks and reference books should be either new or secondhand, in good condition, and appropriate for young and teen readers.

“Participants in the Sarawak Invitational Interteam Pickleball Challenge 2024 are encouraged to donate at least two books per person, while corporate organisations and members of the public are welcome to donate as many books as they want,” it said.
