KUCHING, Jan 25: Attention will be given to the Tebedu Health Clinic and its lack of facilities in order to provide the best health service to the people in the area.

In a news report by Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Tebedu assemblyman Dr Simon Sinang Bada said the welfare and health of the people of Tebedu is an important agenda and needs to be prioritised.

According to him, the Tebedu Health Clinic is responsible for 7,109 residents or a total of 1,356 families within the area.

“I also requested to the management of this clinic to make a ‘wish list’ and send it to the Tebedu Service Centre immediately for appropriate action,” he said during a visit to the Tebedu Health Clinic yesterday (Monday).

Meanwhile, he said that former Tebedu assemblyman Datuk Amar Michael Manyin Jawong’s plan to build a new health clinic in Tebedu should be realised.

He said the same goes for the proposed construction of the Tebedu Fire Station and the Tebedu Immigration, Customs, Quarantine, and Security Complex (ICQS).

“I am aware that the proposals for the health clinic, fire station, and ICQS are under the purview of the Federal government.

“However, as an assemblyman for the Tebedu constituency, I also have the right to voice the issue,” he said. — DayakDaily
