According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, the purpose of the visit was to discuss the direction of development and close cooperation between Belgium and Sarawak, especially in river management, hydrogen public transport, urban traffic management, and so on.

Meanwhile, Pascal said this was his third visit to Sarawak to meet with Lee to share general views and ideas to raise awareness of Sarawak in Belgium and Europe.

“There are many opportunities in Sarawak for business, student exchange programmes, and so on. So this is the right time to be here,” he said after the courtesy call yesterday (Monday).
