KUCHING, August 14: A musical on Sultan Tengah, directed by renowned theatre activist Zakaria Hassan, will premier in the city on Sept 21-23 at Stadium Perpaduan.
Members of the public are invited to watch the staging of the musical, which features Fahrin Ahmad as Sultan Tengah and Mahmud Ali Basah as Sultan Abdul Jalil Akbar.
The multi-talented cast, including Bob Yusof who plays Menteri Amar Setia and Safar Ghaffar as Arya Mangkurat, would surely touch and win the hearts of theatre goers next month.
“Do not miss the chance to watch this musical theatre, which makes its debut in Kuching,” said Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) in a statement.
Tickets for the Sultan Tengah musical theatre, priced at RM200, RM150 and RM20 each, is open for bookings and may be purchased at DBKU Public Relations Division at it headquarters at Bukit Siol, from August 13.
The show, at the state indoor stadium at Petra Jaya here, starts at 8pm.
