KUCHING, Oct 22: Julau incumbent Datuk Larry Sng’s ‘report card’ saw a total of RM20,335,200 was allocated to his constituency throughout his service since 2018.
This was revealed by himself in a Facebook post today.
“However, the report card has yet to include other allocations such as improvement of WiFi connectivity in 47 areas under National Digital Network (Jendela) and proposed constructions of fire station, ATM (automated teller machine) and petrol station,” he said.
Sng won the Julau seat as an Independent candidate in the 14th General Election (GE14) in 2018, defeating the then incumbent Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum of Barisan Nasional (BN) with 1,931 majority votes.
For the coming GE15, Sng said he will defend his seat but refuse to say whether he will stand under Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) or as an independent.
“Previously I contested as an independent candidate and then I was able to join the federal government.
“Now I stand (in the election) again, when I win, I will join the new government to form a stable government,” he added. — DayakDaily
