KUCHING, Apr 13: Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajjah Raghad Kurdi Taib, wife of the Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud has brought cheers to 35 patients at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in Kuala Lumpur this afternoon.
According to a media release, Raghad, who is also the founder of the Ragad Foundation (RF), gave away gifts such as teddy bears, chocolates, and duit raya to 25 children as well as 10 adults who are all heart patients at IJN.
On hand to receive Raghad’s delegation to IJN is the hospital’s deputy chief executive officer Dato Akmal Arief Dr Fauzi and some members of his staff, some staff members of RF as well as some staff from Astana Sarawak.
Raghad made the donation under RF’s #KamekPrihatin initiative in conjunction with the Hari Raya celebrations. — DayakDaily
