Public urged to report social media accounts misusing names of King, Queen, Johor Royal Family

    KUCHING, April 4: Members of the public have been urged to report any accounts that misuse the names of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, or the Johor Royal Family on social media platforms.

    A post shared on His Majesty’s official Facebook account revealed that a Facebook account named ‘Ibrahim Ibni Allmarhumm’ was identified as fake, as it was impersonating Sultan Ibrahim’s identity.

    “Impersonation and misuse of identities are violations of the law, and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the rules and regulations in place,” read the post. — DayakDaily
