PM’s wife Wan Azizah explores Sarawak’s Juma’ani Pavilion

KUCHING, May 18: Prime Minister’s wife, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, visited the Juma’ani Pavilion at Vista Tunku, Petra Jaya, today.

According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), she received a warm welcome from the Premier of Sarawak’s wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang upon her arrival at the Pavilion at about 11am.

Deputy Minister of Women and Childhood Development Datuk Rosey Yunus and members of the Association of Wives of Ministers and Assistant Ministers of Sarawak (Sabati) were also present.

During the visit, Wan Azizal had the opportunity to explore the Premium and Artisan Galleries, which showcase exclusive and unique fashion pieces, ready-to-wear fashion products, and artisan accessories made by Sarawakian designers, including songket and keringkam.

In addition, she also toured the Production Hub and Smart Home Sara-X studio and witnessed a demonstration of creating keringkam by Sarawak Centre of Technical Excellence (Centexs) Textile and Fashion students.
