KUCHING, April 12: OtaZo 2024 is scheduled to captivate attendees on April 27 and 28 at Boulevard Shopping Mall Kuching, promising an immersive experience into the world of anime, comics, games and beyond.
The highly anticipated event celebrating traditional and digital arts and showcasing a diversity of artists, arts, craftspeople, and subcultures is organised by GEKI Events Management, the team behind Otakyun!
A media release today revealed that the event will offer a plethora of activities catering to fans and enthusiasts of all ages and interests, ranging from cosplay showcases to thrilling arts competitions.
One of this year’s main highlights is the Sharing Sessions and Community Shoutout on stage, where various community groups will have an opportunity to promote their activities and foster connections among like-minded individuals.
For those eager to display their prowess and creativity, OtaZo 2024 presents a series of exhilarating competitions, including Coswalk, Cosplay Prop-Making, Mascot Digital Art, and Sarawak Art Wars.
Notably, both the Mascot Digital Art and Sarawak Art Wars competitions are powered by HUION, a global leader in digital ink solutions.
For PokƩmon enthusiasts, whether they are trainers, collectors or Trading Card Game players, Buddy Connection invites them to embark on an unforgetable experience as they will be hosting Teaching Sessions, Trade and Sell events, as well as Missions in PokƩmon TCG.
Furthermore, attendees can indulge their creative impulses in a free doodling space generously provided by Sakura Colors Malaysia and even snag some delightful freebies.
Throughout the event floor, guests can immerse themselves in vibrant community showcases, talented artists, ACG merchants, cosplayers, and an array of food and beverage vendors.
Adding an extra touch of charm, the event will feature a pop-up maid cafe, where maids and butlers will serve guests, creating a truly special experience.
The organiser said the OtaZo 2024 is an unmissable experience, with attractions for everyone. It will run from 12pm to 8pm at Boulevard Shopping Mall, and admission is entirely free.
