Miri Bomba Air Unit brings cheer to children’s home

MIRI, March 23: Twelve personnel from Miri Bomba Air Unit, led by detachment commander Senior Supt Roslan Aziz, brought cheers to 37 children of Pusat Jagaan Anak Kesayangan Kami in Pujut 8 here recently.

They spent two hours bonding with the children. In fact, they clicked the moment they met.

Various activities were held at the home, including a motivational talk.

Roslan, when met later, said he and his men wanted to do something fun and that have positive impact on the children.

“We want these children to know that people do care about them,” he said.

During the visit, Roslan and his men brought some household items and goodies for the children.

It was Miri Bomba Air Unit’s first visit to the centre, and they plan to visit more often in future.

“This programme is known as ‘Bersihati’, which is a combination of ‘Bersih and Hati” Roslan explained. — DayakDaily
