KUCHING, Apr 7: A man who went fishing on Tuesday afternoon, went missing after the fishing boat sunk at Sungai Akah, Long Tap, Ulu Baram, Marudi.
The incident was reported at 12.46 pm by the victim’s friend who was on the same boat.
According to the friend, the victim was nowhere to be seen after the former managed to swim away when the boat sunk.
The missing victim was identified as Tingan Ngau, 30, and the Fire and Rescue (Bomba) Department has gone to the scene for confirmation and investigation. —DayakDaily
