KUCHING, March 25: Four local men and one foreign woman were arrested following raids conducted by the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department of the Sarawak Police Contingent Headquarters on March 22.
According to a statement by Padawan district police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi, three raids were conducted at different locations within Padawan, which resulted in the arrest of the five individuals.
The four men are between the ages of 24 and 34, while the foreign woman is 38 years old.
Ecstasy, syabu, ketamine, and Erimin 5 amounting to RM106,578 were confiscated. In addition, four cars, cash, and jewellery worth RM136,050 were also seized.
“The case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. All individuals have been remanded for seven days until March 30,” he said. — DayakDaily
