KUCHING, Nov 8: The National Kidney Foundation and Malaysia Red Crescent Stampin Branch will jointly host a Blood Donation campaign and Free Health Screening on Saturday, Nov 11.
The event will take place from 10am to 2pm at the East Atrium of Vivacity Megamall.
According to the organizers’ statement, the blood donation campaign aims to save lives and prevent blood shortages at the Blood Bank, Sarawak General Hospital.
Successful blood donors will receive goodie bags as a token of appreciation.
Additionally, as part of the commitment to promoting good health and well-being in the community, free health screenings will be available.
These screenings include body mass index assessment, waist circumference measurement, urine testing, blood glucose level measurement, cholesterol level assessment, and blood sugar testing. Counselling will also be provided by the National Kidney Foundation.
