KUCHING, June 28: A 31-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident along Jalan KJD Batu Wong in Bintangor.
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, they received a call regarding the accident at 7.15am and deployed Bomba Bintangor to the scene.

Based on the report from the Bomba Bintangor operations commander, the victim, identified as Penny Rintan Ngelambong, was found pinned inside the vehicle, which landed upside down on the roadside ditch.
After extraction, the victim was later confirmed dead at the location by medical personnel from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
The deceased body was later handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
