KUCHING, April 25: The entrance route to Darul Ibadah Mosque in Batu Kawa will be temporarily closed from April 29 to May 25 for drainage and irrigation upgrades.
In a statement issued today, the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) Sarawak emphasised that the four-week closure is essential to facilitate Phase 1 of the infrastructure improvement works in the RPR Batu Kawah area.
Road users are urged to exercise extra caution while navigating through the area during the construction period and to follow all traffic management guidelines for their safety.
The department will provide timely updates should there be any changes to the schedule, dates, or areas affected by the works.
Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance, especially in the impacted areas.
