Wall in technical school collapses seriously injuring 19-year-old man

KUCHING, Dec 9: A barrier wall in a technical school at Santubong collapsed this afternoon, seriously injuring a 19-year-old man.

Fire and Rescue (Bomba) Petra Jaya station was alerted of the incident at 2.18pm.

Nine firefighters led by operations commander PKPgB Azaharul Sahari rushed to the scene.

Upon arrival, they found a 2 x 6 meter long wall had collapsed and hit the victim.

It was reported that the victim was about to pick up a broom next to the wall when it collapsed on him.

He suffered serious fractures on his right leg and head injuries. -DayakDaily
