KUCHING, March 23: The Majlis Iftar Karnival Bazar Ramadan 2025 programme with the Sibu Jaya community managed to draw in a crowd of about 3,000, which saw people of various races and religions coming together to break fast.
According to TVS, Dudong assemblyman Dato Sri Tiong King Sing hopes that the programme can be held annually in Sibu Jaya to strengthen the spirit of unity amongst the people.
“There are requests for the programme to be held every year, and I will try to make it a reality,” he said when met at the programme held at Masjid Al-Madinatul Husna on March 22.
At the same time, the minister of tourism, arts, and culture expressed appreciation to all who were involved in the programme’s success, including traders who prepared food to break fast with.
“I wish to say thank you to all traders who helped to prepare the food, as well as to the people who participated in the programme, making it livelier,” he said. — DayakDaily
