KUCHING, Oct 23: Sarawakian swimmer Muhammad Nur Syaiful Zulkafli won the first gold medal for Malaysia at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Para Games.

The 28-year-old swimmer finished first place in the men’s 100-metre breaststroke SB4 (physical impairment) event today.

He also recorded a time of one minute and 46.78 seconds.

Another Malaysian para-athlete, Zy Lee Kher, won the bronze by finishing in two minutes and 11.80 seconds behind second place Yin Wehhong from China. — DayakDaily
