SIBU, Feb 18: The Sarawak Dayak Iban Association (Sadia) will be hosting a pre-Gawai Dayak dinner on May 27 at the Islamic Complex Hall at Jalan Awang Ramli Amit.
At a press conference today, organising chairperson Munan Laja said they had a top-notch entertainment programme lined up, including cultural and singing performances by recording artistes.
“We invite all parties to come and join us to liven up the pre-Gawai Dayak celebration this year,” he added.
He said that about 1,000 people are expected to attend with 100 tables prepared, each costing RM500.
