KUCHING, Sept 29: The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) has denied allegations of a data leak involving business entities in Malaysia as reported by several portals today.
In a statement today, SSM said it had conducted internal investigations following which it gave assurance that all corporate information submitted to SSM is secure and protected by multiple layers of technological security.
SSM said it will work with the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) and the National Security Council (MKN) to conduct further investigations into these allegations.
It took the opportunity to advise the public who wish to obtain information on business entities to do so through following channels recognised by SSM:
