KUCHING, Sept 29: Members of the public, including fully vaccinated individuals, employers and employees, are strongly encouraged to self-test regularly with rapid antigen test-kits as this initiative will be critical in strengthening prevention efforts to reduce and stop the spread of Covid-19.

State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), in its daily update on the Covid-19 situation in Sarawak, advised that individuals who get positive results to immediately report or update their status in their MySejahtera mobile app.

This should be followed by home quarantine as a Home Surveillance Order will be issued digitally through MySejahtera.

Those who test positive are also required to contact the District or Divisional Health Office to inform the health authority of their status or visit the Covid-19 Assessment Centre (CAC) at Sibu Indoor Stadium for Sibu Division only.

The private healthcare facilities are also advised to run RTK Antigen tests on patients as part of their screening procedures.

If patients are found to be positive, they should be referred to the District or Divisional Health Office or the Sibu Indoor Stadium CAC for Sibu Division immediately. — DayakDaily
