SIBU, April 27: A man was arrested after he was found in possession of illicit diesel worth RM46,720 yesterday.
According to Sibu district police chief ACP Zulkipli Suhaili, a Marine Police Region 5 enforcement team detained a van in Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce at about 6.45am for investigation.
“It was found that the van was carrying 800 litres of diesel worth RM46,720,” he said.
Police seized the diesel and arrested the van driver of the van.
“The case has been forwarded to the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry for further action,” Zulkipli said. — DayakDaily
