KUCHING, Aug 16: A section of Jalan Setia Raja will be closed temporarily from 7pm to 4am from Aug 20 to Sept 2 to allow road resurfacing and repair works on water pipes.
In a road advisory, the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak said there will be a temporary road diversion during the maintenance work period.
Hence, motorists are advised to be extra careful when travelling along the road throughout the period and to comply with all traffic management instructions to ensure safety while driving.
Road users are also encouraged to use existing alternative routes where possible and plan their journey to the area in advance until the end of the maintenance work period.
The contractor will provide advance notice in the event of changes to the date or area involved in the maintenance work.
