KUCHING, Nov 6: The cumulative number of Covid-19 deaths in Sarawak has risen to 1,434 following 19 more death reports today.
According to State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), a 48-year-old man from Sibu who had no known illnesses was the youngest among the 19.
Of the 19 death cases reported, six of them occurred from Oct 23 to 31, and another 13 between Nov 3 and 5.
Excluding the man from Sibu and another 95-year-old woman from Betong, the other 17 victims aged between 50 and 97 all showed medical histories of comorbidities.
In terms of districts, Betong, Sibu, Kuching and Samarahan registered six, five, four and two fatalities respectively, while Bintulu and Mukah recorded one each. — DayakDaily
