Sarawak’s CMCO to be extended for another 21 days until June 7

KUCHING, May 15: The Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) for the whole Sarawak will be extended for another 21 days until June 7.

State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), after assessing the current Covid-19 situation in Sarawak where positive cases continue to rise, decided to prolong the CMCO restrictions which are supposed to end on May 17.

“SDMC has agreed to extend the CMCO implementation in Sarawak from 12.01am on May 18 until 11.59pm on June 7, 2021,” it said in a statement today.

The committee added that a complete compilation of additional information regarding standard operating procedures (SOPs) would be published at the National Security Council (MKN) official website. — DayakDaily
