MIRI, Sept 29: Community leaders, chieftains as well as Village Development and Security Committees (JKKKs) under Lambir constituency have been urged to submit their list of project proposals for implementation consideration before November.

In a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), Deputy Minister for Entrepreneur Development Dr Ripin Lamat said the proposed projects will be included in the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) list where they will be discussed and identified for implementation in 2023.

“I hope the needs under RTP in our area can be completed and submitted to the Lambir State Assembly Service Centre before November.

“This includes projects that will be implemented in the Tukau area to be included in the RTP for 2023,” he said when officiating at the Mooncake Festival celebration at the SUPP Tukau multipurpose hall here on Tuesday.

At the event, Ripin, who is also Lambir assemblyman, also announced a Minor Rural Project grant totalling RM10,000 for SJKC Chung Hua Bakam, SJKC Chung Hua Tukau and Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Lambir Branch. — DayakDaily
