Rela helping to keep Sungai Moyan folk safe

KUCHING, March 7: A People’s Volunteer Corps (Rela) team from Desa Wira started night-time patrols around Sungai Moyan, in Batu Kawah, on March 5 following a spate of break-in cases and burglaries in the area.

According to a press release, the Desa Wira Rela team was informed of the situation in Sungai Moyan by the residents.

The team then took the initiative to communicate with the police, which approved their night patrols.

Residents are advised to be on the alert and immediately report to the police of anyone who claimed to be a Rela member but without uniform.
