Recoda gifts 6 desktop computers, 6 printers to SK Trusan, Lawas

KUCHING, June 12: Six desktop computers and six printers were handed over to SK Trusan, Lawas yesterday (June 11) as part of Regional Corridor Development Authority (Recoda)’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

Other than the computer equipment, 10 mattresses and 10 prayer mats were also among the contributions to the school to alleviate the burden faced following the aftermath of recent floods in the area.

Besides the Northern Regional Development Agency (NRDA), sponsors included two construction contractors Kemena Holding Sdn Bhd and HMN Nadhir Sdn Bhd.

Deputy Chief Minister and NRDA chairman Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan was the representative who gave out the items to SK Trusan headmaster Suliman Yahya in front of the Hotel Seri Malaysia, Lawas.

NRDA is a regional development agency under Recoda, which is tasked with implementing socio-economic and infrastructure projects in the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (Score).

The statutory body also promotes and facilitates investments to Score as well as create job opportunities. — DayakDaily
