Political pundit: S’wak’s move towards green energy production invites worldwide attention

KUCHING, Feb 16: Sarawak’s move towards green energy production has invited the interest and attention of the world, says political pundit Dato Peter Minos.

In a statement today, Minos said such recognition is a positive turn for Sarawak as it will result in many benefits.

“To think that Sarawak, a small part of big Borneo and a part of Malaysia, has come to this, we are indeed very proud and happy.

“It also goes to show that, with progressive and active leadership, we can do wonders and go far,” he said.

On the same note, Minos said that while Sarawak is already producing and exporting LNG to Japan, Sarawak will also produce graphite and ammonia.

He also said that a European Union (EU) group is curious and is dropping by to learn what Sarawak offers.

“It says a lot for Sarawak. It shows that Sarawak has moved and stirred such that the world has started to notice,” he added. — DayakDaily
