PBK president: Forced vaccinations tantamount to assault, battery

Voon Lee Shan

KUCHING, March 28: Vaccinations should not be forced on people as it is tantamount to assault or battery, said Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) president Voon Lee Shan.

In a statement today, Voon said the citizens should not be put at risk, and instead of the vaccines, the government should look for alternative cures and measures to fight Covid-19.

“There are too many people who are not suitable to be vaccinated for health and religious reasons. Therefore, the government should give clear directives to say that those not suitable for vaccination be exempted,” he said.

Voon pointed out that there are many reports published online that governments are being sued by their citizens for probable Covid-19 vaccinations.

Until recently, he said, the Ministry of Health (MOH) had received no less than 1,758 reports of adverse events following immunisation (AEFI) since the Covid-19 National Immunisation Programme (NIP) kicked off in February last year, as reported by a national news agency on February 24.

He added that the figure was alarmingly high, indicating that the vaccines are not suitable for all Malaysians and that alternative medicines and measures should be sought to combat Covid-19.

Voon said the government should not deny the side effects caused by the vaccines, whereby many healthy people have been paralysed or died after getting vaccinated.

According to him, there are reports and talks claiming that the vaccines are not safe as their effectiveness also raised doubts among members of the public.

He also opined the government should come up with a commitment to deny or admit whether or not the vaccines are truly safe and effective.

“Perhaps a Royal Commission of Inquiry could be set up, a report be compiled, and investigations made known for public knowledge,” he said. ― DayakDaily
