KUCHING, Feb 9: Outgoing Immigration Department Sarawak director Datu Ken Leben paid a courtesy visit to Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah at his office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today.
Ken, from Sungai Aup in Sibu, has been promoted to deputy director-general (Control) of the Malaysian Immigration Department in Putrajaya effective yesterday Feb 8).
He has served as the Sarawak director for the past seven years.
Earlier, Uggah also received a courtesy visit from Professor Dr Suriani Abu Bakar, the deputy vice chancellor (Research and Innovation) of Sultan Idris Education University in Tanjung Malim, Perak.— DayakDaily
