KUCHING, July 17: The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced that Covid-19 test results no longer need to be uploaded to the MySejahtera app.
Instead, medical practitioners will now report these results using the eNotifikasi system. This change took effect on July 15.
According to national news agency Bernama, MOH stated that confirmation tests for Covid-19 will now be conducted exclusively through professionally administered Rapid Test Kit Antigen (RTK-Ag) or polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests.
“Tests are conducted for treatment purposes and not for screening,” the ministry was quoted as saying.
The eNotifikasi system, utilised by the MOH and all health facilities, is designed to monitor and notify cases of infectious diseases across the country, ensuring a streamlined and efficient reporting process.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad previously indicated that the MOH would issue detailed revisions to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to Covid-19, as Malaysia transitions to a phase of living with the pandemic.
