Missing Selangau woman found safe in oil palm plantation

KUCHING, Jan 28: The missing 74-year-old woman in Selangau who was reported missing was found safe in an oil palm plantation.

According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, the victim was found by members of the public at 8.30am.

“The victim was found about 5 kilometres from where she was last seen,” it said.


Yesterday (Jan 27), a search and rescue operation was launched for Cherurai Mukan from Rh Samuli Sungai Tau in Selangau when she failed to return home after going to a nearby river to fish. — DayakDaily
