MIRI, Dec 17: A 19-year-old housewife suffered injuries to her head after she was allegedly hit by her husband during an argument over money on Monday morning in Lutong.
The alleged incident took placed near an eatery around 10am.
The victim lodged a police report after the incident as she feared for her safety.
Prior to the incident, the victim had just approached the premises to fetch her sister from work, when her husband turned up and demanded RM100 cash.
An argument ensued between the two, with the husband suddenly slapping his wife’s head.
She eventually handed over the cash to him. — DayakDaily
