KAPIT, Dec 17: A car which was parked at a basement carpark caught fire due to unknown reasons at Wisma Megah, Jalan Yong Moo Chai here on Monday night.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received the distress call around 8.23pm when members of the public spotted the car on fire.
According to the department, the fire was believed to have started from the back bonnet of the car.
The fire was later put out. Five per cent of the car was damaged by the flames.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
