Offer to buy food costs security guard his motorcycle

MIRI, Dec 17: A security guard at a housing area in Permyjaya not only lost his motorcycle, but also RM50 cash after a friend borrowed his two-wheeler under the pretext of buying takeaway on Sunday afternoon.

The motorcycle is estimated to be worth around RM1,000.


A police report was lodged on Monday.

In the incident around 2pm on Sunday, a friend of the complainant came to his workplace in Permyjaya and offered to buy him takeaway food.

Without much thought, the complainant who is in his early 20’s lent his motorcycle to his friend.

As of press time, the motorcycle has yet to be found or returned to the complainant. — DayakDaily
