KUCHING, Feb 16: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning for Miri, Telang Usan, Marudi and Limbang.
In an advisory notice issued at 5.50pm today, the depart said anticipated weather conditions include heavy rain and strong winds, which will remain in effect until 8pm.
A warning is issued when there are signs of a thunderstorm with a rain intensity greater than 20 mm/hour that is approaching or expected to last for more than an hour.
