MBKS, associations providing services to help hawkers, coffeeshop operators register for vaccination

KUCHING, July 16: Kuching South City Council (MBKS) with the assistance of four major food and beverage related associations are helping hawkers, coffeeshop operators and their staff to register for the Covid-19 vaccines.

“In view that the economic sectors are gradually opening up during this National Recovery Plan Phase 2 and as part of the vaccination programme, MBKS is now assisting the hawkers, coffee shops operators and their staff to get their jabs,” said MBKS in a press statement today.

For those who have yet to receive their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccines, they are urged to contact the following associations or MBKS to register for the vaccination.


These associations include Persatuan Tukang Masak How You Kuching (Goh Ah Seng, 019-886-3813), Sarawak Restaurant Association (Kapitan Stanley Hu, 019-888-6826), Persatuan Peniaga Kedai Kopi dan Restoran Kuching (Richard Chong, 019-888-8081) and Kuching City South Hawker Association (Tan Choo Kong, 016-886-9559).
