KUCHING, April 13: The police have today arrested a man who allegedly molested several women and performed obscenities by flashing his private parts in public.
Padawan district police chief Supt Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad said the suspect who is in his twenties was detained at a factory along Jalan Batu Kawa around 1.15pm today.
“So far, the police have received reports involving six suspects. Reports were received alleging that the suspect had molested the victims and also followed them to a quiet place before flashing his private parts at them,” he said in a statement today.
Abang Zainal added that the case is investigated under Section 354 and Section 609 of the Penal Code.
The suspect will be remanded in the Kuching Court until April 14 for further investigation.
The police also confiscated a motorcycle, two helmets and some of the suspect’s clothes. — DayakDaily
