MIRI, Jan 31: A flexi-bike reported missing from a house in Pujut 5 here during the wee hours on Friday was found less than 12 hours after it was stolen.

The purple flexi-bike said to be worth RM800 was reported missing around 3am today by its owner in his 50s.

The bicycle was spotted being ridden by two men along the Pujut Corner 1B around 1pm Friday by one of the Resident Committee (RC) patrolling crews.

The RC crew immediately alerted his colleagues on the discovery.

Upon their arrival at the scene, they immediately apprehended the suspects believed to be in their late 20s and handed them over to the police.

According to sources the duo were dubbed “Gang Pujut Boy” and frequently involved in stealing fruits from housing areas in Pujut. —DayakDaily
